Blame Game

Why does everyone try to play the blame game? Can’t we just fix the problem. No one is in favor of repossesion of homes—not the banks and not the homeowners. What this woman is saying makes sense. In the long run it is in all our self interest to help people keep their homes. People need to get over themselves and move on, we are all being hurt by this in one way or another.

Mortgages

These folks were sold a bill a goods. The mortgage bankers knew that these folks could not pay those house payments but were driven by greed. Yes we should absolutely help these folks.

I still can’t get the movies to work. My father tried on his computer, and he got sound, but no picture. (and there are lots of Dells out here!)

Subprime

Are not the people who took out the mortgage responsible as well? What about personal responsibility? We can not afford to bail out everyone. Why did they buy the house in the first place? There is plenty of blame to go around, but the home owners who signed the loan papers have to accept their share.
